Troubleshooting and Safety

Loss of Suction or Vacuum Shuts Off  
1. Plugged power head 1. Check for power head obstruction.
2. Obstruction in hose 2. Check for hose obstruction.
3. Dust collecting bag full 3. Empty and clean container. Replace with new bag.

4. Filter(s) dirty

4. Replace the appropriate filter(s).
Vacuum Will Not Operate  
1. Not plugged into electrical outlet. 1. Insert plug firmly into electrical outlet.
2. Damaged power cord. 2. Call Authorized Dealer.
3. Damaged switch. 3. Call Authorized Dealer.
4. Damaged motor. 4. Call Authorized Dealer.

5. Motor overheated.

5. Disconnect from electrical outlet. Check hose, wands, and powerhead for obstruction. Empty dust bag, allow to cool down and reconnect to wall outlet.

A. You could be injured by moving parts of the vacuum should the power switch accidentally be turned on, or if the motor should automatically restart itself after cooling down.

B. Turn off this appliance and unplug the cord from the electrical outlet before attempting to change filters, bags, belts, examining the powerhead, etc. Do not touch plug or appliance with wet hands.

C. The hose contains electrical wires. Do not use if damaged cut or punctured. Avoid picking up sharp objects.

Electrical shock could occur if used outside or on wet surfaces.
