INTRODUCTION
Intertek Testing Services NA Ltd./Warnock Hersey has performed
airflow and static pressure tests on a household vacuum cleaner
sampled and submitted by Miracle Mate Superior Systems. The
tests were conducted on January 22, 1999.
DESCRIPTION
The submitted test sample was identified as the Miracle Mate
(Platinum) vacuum cleaner complete with factory hose. The
powerhead assembly was not submitted with the vacuum cleaner.
TEST RESULTS
Air measurements were taken at the end of
the supplied hose (approximately 8' long).
1. Airflow
The airflow was measured using a calibrated
Davis Mechanical Vane Anemometer, S/N: 57128B. The average
airflow measured was 114.9 CFM.
2. Static Pressure
The static pressure was measured using a
Dwyer Magnehelic water column gauge S/N: R962224J704 which
measures from 0 to 150" W.C. The static pressure was
measured and found to be 92" W.C.
